Happy Saturday, Inkers!
Here’s a little something sorta shabby to start off your weekend!
Groovy Love #3
A bit of distressing and plenty of hearts really pump up the shabby factor on this card!
The little pink roses from the *Artisan Embellishment Kit sure have shown up on plenty of my cards lately, but I just love them, they fit in with so many styles from contemporary to the whole shabby thing! I only have a few left, so unless I find some on the floor among the dust bunnies, you probably won’t see them for a while (unless I buy another kit…hmm). I still have what’s left of the ribbon from the kit (Blackberry Bliss, my favorite!), so you may see that pop up somewhere soon. I got so much use out of this one little box of embellishments…love it!
Designer Tip: I used a dauber on the end of my index finger to distress the edges of the card stock and the hearts. If you start off of your project on a piece of paper and work towards the project with the dauber you will get a softer look. If you ink up the dauber and start directly on the project, you get a heavier look and sometimes you come out with circles on the project where you set down the dauber, and you don’t want that …unless of course… you’re trying to make circles!
Thanks for stopping by… have a fabulous day!
Got something to say? Leave me a comment…I’d like that!
