Are you looking for a super simple card that’s pretty to boot? Well, look no more!
Stamp Of The Month: Butterfly Basics #2
The Artisan Embellishment Kit from the new Occasions Catalog makes this beautiful card easy to put together in just a matter of minutes! Do some layering, stamp out your greeting, punch out the butterfly, and add some bling …bam!…you’re done! You could easily turn this into an anniversary card or even a Mother’s Day card by just switching out the sentiment. Talk about pretty and quick!
This card is very basic, but If you want to get a little more creative with it, you could use the rose diecut from the kit as a stencil! Use a piece of washi tape or Post It Note to hold down the diecut…put some ink on a sponge dauber, and rub a little color over the entire diecut. When you lift up the diecut, you’ll have some pretty inked roses you can use as a background on your next card! Ink several backgrounds in different colors and use them to make sets of greeting cards for gifts later in the year. Now, turn over the diecut and use it to make another card, or if it’s pretty… just use the side with the ink all over it! Now… that’s what I call inking outside the box!
Thanks for visiting…have a fabulous day!
