Instead of a card today, I thought I’d share a few samples of some creative packaging. Gift bags are always in short supply at my house, and where I live, you don’t just hop in the car and drive to the store to get one! So, I’ve learned to use what I have on hand and make my own when I have to. It’s not always what I would like to use, and not every gift comes out looking like a million bucks (trust me), but it sure forces you to get creative!
It sure seems I’m using a lot of gold recently. I must love it, because my scrap box is plum full of it! So, I’m doing my best not to waste any of it. Today it’s showing up on both of these cute little gift bags. Waste not want not!
The great thing about using up your scraps is that no two things come out alike. There’s only so much scrap to go around, so each item has it’s own personality!
