Good Things In Black & White!

Good Morning Stampers!

It’s time for some black & white!  With all the new in-colors and the new catalog just coming out, we’re up to our eyeballs in color!  Color is always a good thing, but sometimes it’s fun to get back the basics…like the Good Things In Black & White!

Good Things In Black & White!

Good Things In Black & White

Basic Black and Whisper White card stock are the base for this clean and simple card.

The background (Gorgeous Grunge) is stamped in black (Memento Ink Pad used here). The hexagon shapes (Six Sided Stamp Set) and the greeting (You’ve Got This) are stamped using a VersaMark Ink Pad, embossed in black and then punched out.

Good Things In Black & White- InsideOn the inside, the distressed stripes (Gorgeous Grunge) are loaded with ink and then stamped off once to make the image light enough so you can write your message right over the top of it. This is a great way to add a design element inside your card without letting it take over!

Enjoy…Karen
