Awesomely Artistic: Basic Stamping Series #4

Good Morning, Stampers!

Are you ready for an e-Z FOLD?

If you’re looking for something a little different for a basic card, try this
Z-FOLD technique. It’s fun and it’s easy…great for any skill level!

but, open it up… and it reveals plenty of room for you message!

This is a fun way to turn things around (haha!) when you want
something a little different. Just by cutting your cardstock in the other
direction and folding it, you get a totally new look for your cards!

Z-FOLD card Step 1. www

Cut a piece of 8 1/2″ x 11″ card stock in half lengthwise, at 4 1/4″.

 Z-FOLD card Step 2. www

Score at the half way point…5 1/2″, fold…use a bone folder for a crisp edge.

Z-FOLD card Step 3. www

Finally, open up the folded card, and score at 2 3/4″ from the INSIDE. This helps the cardstock from tearing if you press too hard when you score it.  Now, fold it back on itself and use a bone folder to finish it. Tah Dah!!!

For this card, I cut and stamped pieces to add to the base, but you
could stamp directly on the card if you like.

Enjoy!
