An All Around Thanks!

Good Morning, Stampers!

An all around thanks… just what you need to have in your card stash!  Made in
black & white, it’s classic, and is appropriate for any age, for any reason. We all have
people we need to thank, and nothing says it better than something handmade
in their mailbox!

All Around Thanks!

This card turned out to be a little more work than I intended, I had to adjust my
stamping so the words would not overlap.  Once I figured out how big to make
the square (4 x 4) so the words would fit, I used the Stamp-a-ma-jig and grid
paper to line everything up as I went. Success…Yippee!

If you want to make a version of your own, you’ll need to do some measuring.
Since each person will stamp differently, things will vary in size, so the center
space used for the flower may be different for each card. The whole card
measures 5 x 5 finished, plus the handmade envelope.

After I made this envelope, it kept staring back at me (does this happen to you?)
somehow it just didn’t work…especially after seeing it in this photo.  AHA!..I think
a plain white envelope would have carried out the classic look of this “all around
thanks” card much better, too much whimsy here.  Oh… hind sight!  Meanwhile,
there is a package of SU Envelope Paper in my drawer, and it includes white.
Yep…I’ll be making another envelope before I send this out.

NEVER be afraid to change something or even (gasp) start over!
It’s just paper and ink…mistakes are not failures, just more
opportunities to stamp something.

Thanks for visiting today….
