Let’s spice it up a bit today…this card has a bold background full of color!
Made with a watercolor technique, it almost looks like the petals of a
flower (a happy accident), perfect for these cute little potted plants.
First the plants are stamped directly on a piece card stock (Crumb Cake) in
Old Olive ink. Then, they are stamped a second time (on a separate piece of
Crumb Cake) in Calypso Coral ink and hand cut with the Paper Snips. The
edges are distressed using Blackberry Bliss and Early Espresso inks and
then layered on top of the green pots using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Inside the card the plants are stamped again, this time in Blackberry Bliss.
I like how they are not perfect, they almost look weathered from being outside.
