PPA282: Choose Happiness

Hello Stampers!

How about another challenge?

For today’s sketch, I chose to use a couple of my favorites from the Annual Catalog.

I found the background piece in my stash from an earlier inking frenzy, and these
awesome stamp sets have been just sitting on my shelf, waiting, I haven’t even
gotten out them of the cases (gasp!).  So, I decided today was the day to change
that, besides I want more stuff from the Occasions Catty and I feel more justified
getting it if I use these first (sound familiar?).

Since I already had the chevron piece made in my stash, the rest was easy…
I love my stash!. Lost Lagoon card stock,Silver Foil Paper and a little heat
embossing make that chevron design really look good…even though it’s sort
of distressed, the whole card still looks crisp and clean!

Looking for a quick technique?

Heat embossing is one of the first things I learned when I started stamping, and I still
get excited watching how it works every time I emboss. If you are new to rubber stamping,
it’s one of the easiest ways to transform a project from plain to WOW in about a minute.
It may be an old technique, but it’s still one of the best!

Thanks for stopping by today…

As always, I’d love to hear from you,
so go ahead… leave me a comment!
