Do you craft in cycles?
I’ve been in a serious paper mode for the last few weeks (this is not news to
some of you…haha). Timeless Elegance DSP ( AC) was at the top of my
personal paper heap (I think I went through 3 packs) until I opened the
Home For Christmas DSP…and loved it! Sadly… it’s on the retirement list
for the Holiday Catalog and will only be available while supplies last…sniff.
Isn’t that background paper great…it’s in the pack too…
so many uses from one pack of beautiful paper!
The poinsettias are fussy cut…but don’t worry about being perfect, you can
ink the edges of the leaves to cover any white space that may show…easy peasy!
Up close you can see the poinsettias are adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals,
that leaves room underneath for the gold cording. Sometimes things can get wonky
if you try to put the dimensionals directly on top of cording or lace, etc. To get
around that problem, try using a small piece of tape to hold the cording etc.in place
(it will be hidden by the flowers). Figure out where you want your flower to be, and
place the dimensionals so that the cording runs in between the dimensionals…
tah dah…success, no wonky bump!
Until next time…Karen
