Good Morning, Inkers!
It’s Saturday, the perfect day for making this simple, masculine “Thank You” card!
Antlers, antlers everywhere!
Antlers are huge in the decorating world this year, and we
are seeing them all over in paper crafting too!
This card is clean & simple, and just right for someone who doesn’t like a bunch of fluff.
The antlers are stamped with VersaMark and embossed in gold, then cut out with a 2″ circle punch. While you have the ink out, grab a scrap of black and emboss your greeting. I used the “Thank You” from An Open Heart stamp set.
The layers go together in practically no time. Once you get the stripes down (from the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP), roll up some metallic thread and hold it down with a small piece of tape. Add some Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the antlers, and the greeting…and pop them into place.
Quick and classy….
Here’s a peek at the inside…more antlers stamped in black, with a bit of distressing added.
For the envelope (shown above), I used more of the Winter Wonderland Specialty DSP and the largest of the Envelope Liners Framelits to line a medium Crumb Cake envelope, then I stamped antlers on the back flap for a finishing touch.
