Shabby Style Gift Bag

Happy Saturday!

Have you looked at the retirement list?  I have a few favorites on the list this year, you probably do to…and in a few short weeks they will be gone for good. Apothecary Art is one of my retiring favorites… and it makes a great Shabby Style Gift Bag!

Shabby Style Gift Bag

Apothecary Art BagWho doesn’t love getting a pretty package?

A handmade tag, stamped and distressed in creamy colors, makes a statement on this easy open gift bag. The tag base is Very Vanilla card stock cut to size with a 1/2″ circle punched out at the top. A Tea Lace Paper Doily is wrapped around one side of the tag, with a section of Apothecary Art turned sideways on the other. All edges of the tag are distressed with Crumb Cake ink and a Sponge Dauber, with a touch of Early Espresso added here and there. The smallest Apothecary Art is stamped in Basic Black, cut out with the Label Colliection Framelits (also retiring) and popped up with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.  Crumb Cake Ribbon (retiring), a Bitty Butterfly, and a few pearls add the finishing touch.

Stampin’ Up! always has some great gift wrapping ideas scattered throughout the catalog, many of the boxes and bags, like this one (Petite Cafe’ Gift Bags) are also food safe, so it’s easy to come up with a quick, great looking package you can put your baked goods in!

You could say…”It’s in the bag”…I couldn’t resist!

Thanks for stopping by…have a fabulous day!

Be sure and check out what’s still available from the retirement list!  Item are only while supplies last…and some items are as much as 50% off…you can’t beat that kind of deal!
