Take a look at my latest “man” card! It’s classic navy and white, plus… it’s super simple!
Isn’t this paper perfect for this card!
It’s the new Birthday Bash Specialty DSP from the new Occasions Catalog.
Usually when I buy paper there’s a few “duds” in the pack, and I have to wonder what the heck I’m gonna do with them. Not this pack, I actually like both sides of all the paper! There’s even a couple “special” pieces that are one sided, but they have gold embossing on them, can’t wait to use those! Love it all!
The squares for the card are cut at 2 3/4″ square from the navy card stock and 2 1/2″ from the BB DSP. I stamped the anchor from the Guy Greetings set, and then punched it out with the 1 3/4″ circle punch, and layered it onto a navy circle that was punched with a 2″ circle. To finish off my “man” card, I stamped my greeting ( also from the Guy Greetings set) and added some cotton twine. I’m really happy with the results!
Sometimes I struggle with masculine cards, do you ? How do you handle it when you get “stampers block” making those “man” cards? I’d love to hear some of your ideas!
Thanks for stopping by…have a fabulous day!
