Stamp Of The Month: Ornamental Pine #2

Good Morning Stampers!

I hope you can all find some time for a little “therapy” this weekend!

Here at Inker’s Workshop, I’ve been busy working on the “Stamp Of The Month” projects I’m going to share with all of you, and trying to get in a little “therapy” of my own!

This months projects are a little more distressed than they started out to be.  I guess that’s what happens when I’m left alone too long!  I haven’t done much background stamping in a long time (I love paper too!), but I think I’m addicted all over again!

Stamp Of The Month: Ornamental Pine #2

Ornamental Pine Week #2

Did you notice that I used the left over piece of Woodgrain from last week?  That’s right, it’s the piece I cut off of when I made the background behind the pinecones!  I just turned it sideways and added the greeting!

I have boxes and drawers full of pieces I have cut off or made for another project that just didn’t work out.  I save a lot of them and use them to fill in here and there. Some of my best cards have been made by just playing around with random pieces until it just “works”.  That’s some of the best therapy there is!  It’s also some of the most fun, all of the work is done and you get to just play!  What’s not to love?!
