I have a great Christmas card to share with you today! It’s a bit on the shabby side (see a trend here?). It has lots of layers of both paper and ink, two of my favorite things! Isn’t it just YUMMY!
Monday Night Mix Up: Mingle All The Way!
Shades of Whisper White, Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake all come together with a touch of gold to make this card just…well, YUMMY! I know…again with the yummy? Really?
The middle layer is a piece of Very Vanilla that I spritzed with alcohol and then crumbled up. After I flattened it out and let it dry, I used a piece of sponge to add some ink to it. The next layer is Whisper White that I put in an embossing folder and ran it through the Big Shot. I cut it into four pieces and distressed the edges. Then, of course I used some ink to highlight the embossing and the ragged edges! I added just a few touches of gold to finish it off. Some sequins, baker’s twine and of course, some jingle bells!
I really love this color combo, it just makes me happy!
Thanks for stopping by today!
