I’m a little behind on the posting these days. My apologies for being a little off schedule for the past few weeks. My mother suffered a severe stroke a while back and I have been busy trying to help out the family. She is doing ok, but she will need a lot of care. It’s a harsh reminder of how fragile life can be. It’s also a reminder to be thankful for all you have and to hug the one’s you love. Life can change in an instant!
Today I decided to share another version of a card that I posted back on Sept.15th. It’s a Little Black Butterfly. It’s a little more distressed than the first version (Not Quite Shabby), which I deliberately kept on the clean side. I naturally lean toward anything distressed, so keeping it clean can be a struggle for me. Sometimes turning into a mission of sorts!
I send out a lot of thank you cards during the year and sometimes I make several versions of the same card and just customize it to fit each person. This idea really works great when you already have all of your supplies out and you can just tweak it here and there to make each card a little more original.
“Thanks For Stopping By Today, And Have A Fabulous Day!”
