It’s Labor Day weekend and most of you will be focused on things other than crafting. Yeah!
Take the time to enjoy your family and eat some BBQ over the weekend! While you’re out there, be sure to take a look around and really notice your surroundings. Is there some pretty flowers or a great garden near by? What about an old building with some vintage architecture? Or maybe someone is wearing a nice blouse that has unusual colors. All these things can serve as inspiration for you next project. So, take lots of pictures, not just of your family, but of your surroundings too! Bring those pics home and use them as inspiration for a future project!
Now for today’s card:
Saturday Post: Ink Bubbles
To make a background like this one you will need some ink, an embossing folder and a spritzer. Oh, and paper of course!
To get this look, open up the embossing folder and ink up one side using the colors of your choice. Use the Stampin’ Spritzer and lightly mist it with water. Lay your cardstock down and close the folder. Now rub over the closed folder a few times and then peek inside to see the results! This is a quick way to get a great background for your cards!
Experimenting with ink is always time well spent for me! No two backgrounds are ever the same and I love that you always get something original!
Thanks for stopping by today!
