Masculine cards are always on my list of cards to make. It seems I can never make enough of them! I use them up as fast as I can get them done! They are never easy for me and sometimes I’m guilty of pushing them aside in favor of something that’s a little more fun to make.
Some sort of mental “block” comes over me when I start making a “manly” card. It’s like I’m a deer in the headlights and I just don’t know which direction to take! So, I start doing a little bit of everything trying to get something to work in my favor. Most of the time, in the end I have nothing show for it, I just have the experience and the mess!
Then there are those times when the world is my oyster and everything just seems to fall into place! I love it when that happens! It’s like the heaven’s open up and good things just rain down upon you, and nothing bad will ever happen again! Awesome!
My card today is somewhere in between those two extremes. It’s a simple design that can be used over and over for a masculine card. Just change out the colors, and the stamps, and you could get some great cards out of it!
Now, you have something to fall back on when you find yourself lacking “manly” inspiration! Isn’t that great!
